Burnout

Ihr Lieben,
wie ihr sicher gemerkt habt, habe ich im letzten Jahr ziemlich wenig Zeit/Arbeit in HS investiert. Das heißt NICHT, dass es mir nichts mehr wert ist oder ich das Interesse verloren habe. Ich hatte und habe nur schlicht keine Energie dazu.
Das letzte Jahr war in mehrfacher Hinsicht sehr, sehr anstrengend und gerade mein Job hat mich an die Grenze der Belastbarkeit getrieben - mit dem Ergebnis, dass ich kurz vorm Burnout stehe, vielleicht auch schon mitten drin, wer weiß. Ich werde daher zum 31.03. kündigen und mir einen anderen Job suchen, vielleicht auch erstmal eine kleine Auszeit nehmen, um mich und mein Leben wieder auf die Kette zu kriegen. Und dann habe ich sicher auch wieder genug Energie für mein Kartenbaby :)
Danke für eure Treue und Unterstützugn und bitte entschuldigt, dass ich euch so vernachlässigt habe :(

Dear members,
as you might have noticed, I didn't put much time or work into HS in 2021. That does NOT mean that I've lost interest in HS. I just didn't have enough energy for it.
The last year was very exhausting in many different ways, and especially my job took all my energy up to my brraking point - with the result that I'm nearly heaving aa burnout (or I'm already in it, who knows). I will quit my job by the end of March and look for a new one, or maybe just take a short break to get my life and my health back on track. And I'm sure then I'll have enough power again to work on my card baby :)
Thank you for your support and your loyalry and sorry that I neglected you :(
PS: Congrats on attaining majority, Happy Snowflake ^^

Hallo meine Lieben :)
Nach langem Hin und Her bin ich nun endlich fertig mit den Neuerungen. (Auch wenn ich mir noch weitere vorgenommen habe, haha) Ich hoffe, dass euch diese die Nutzung von HS erleichtern und natürlich auch langfristig mehr neue Nutzer anziehen und halten ^^
Folgendes ist neu:

* Kein Drop-Down-Menü mehr; die Navigation ist komplett in der linken Spalte
* Die Navigation hat größere Buttons zur Nutzung an mobilen Geräten
* Der Bereich "Interactive" erscheint jetzt erst nach dem Einoggen
* Im Games-Bereich könnt ihr anhand der Farben (rot/grün) genau erkennen, welches Spiel ihr schon gespielt habt
* Die Spiele werden sonntags automatisch und mit neuen Belohnungen zurückgesetzt
* Die Angabe eines Geschlechts bei der Anmeldung wurde gestrichen
* ... und es gibt ein Herbst-Design :)

Ich hoffe, euch gefällt es und ihr habt weiterhin viel Spaß! Bald gibt's auch wieder neue Karten, versprochen!

Hi there :)
After a lot of work I'm finally done with the improvements. (Although I'm still thinking about some more, haha) I hope the'll make using HS easier for you and will attract (and keep) new users ^^
Here's what's new:

* no drop down menus anymore; the navigation has moved completely to the left column
* the navigation has larger buttons to make it easier to user on mobile devices
* the section "Interactive" becomes visible after login
* in the games section the colors (red/green) indicate whether you've already played the game or not
* all games are reset automatically on Sundays, and so are the rewards
* to choose a gender at registration is not neccessary anymore
* ... and there's an autumn design :)

I hope you like it and continue to have fun! There'll be new cards soon, I promise!

UMBAUARBEITEN / MAINTENANCE

In den letzten Wochen habe ich mir viele Gedanken um HS gemacht und ich bin unzufrieden mit dem Layout. Es ist zu umständlich und zu altmodisch, daher möchte ich es gerne nach und nach ändern.
Ich möchte es übersichtlicher und etwas komfortabler für kleinere Bildschirme (zB Tablets) gestalten. Das mache ich aber im Live-Betrieb, daher kann es in den nächsten Tagen zu Fehlermeldungen kommen. Ihr könnt euch aber wie gewohnt einloggen und spielen, es geht nichts verloren :)

I've been thinking about HS for a few weeks now and I'm not satisfied with the layout anymore. It's not handy and way too oldfashioned, so I'm going to change it bit by bit. But I won't close HS for that, so there might be some errors or odd looking stuff during the next days. But you may still login and play as you like, nothing will get lost :)

Short Update

Hallo zusammen,
ein kurzes Update von mir.
Das Haus ist offiziell unseres und wir sind auch schon eingezogen (hurra!)
Dafür wohnen wir im Hochwassergebiet, und auch wenn es nur ein paar Zentimeter Wasser im Keller waren, ist die Gesamtsituation sehr unschön.
Ich hoffe aber, dass ich diese Woche endlich mal wieder dazu komme, neue Karten für euch zu machen :)

Hi there,
a short update from me.
The house is officially ours and we've already moved in (yay!)
But unfortunately we live in the area that has been flooded last week. We "only" had water in the cellar (just a few centimeters high), but the whole situation is still pretty sad.
But I hope that I'll be able to create new cards for you this week :)
